Facility Capabilities

  • Plant Capacity of 100,000 square feet (10,000 square meters) per week w/2 shifts and 5 days with special etching capacity for up to 8,200 square feet. (2500 square meters) per week of 400 micron copper
  • Extensive use of high volume fabrication tooling with complete tool and die maintenance on site. Aurora works with both domestic and foreign tool makers
  • Twelve (12) Punch presses with up to 150 US ton (136 MT) capacity for Print and Etch and Metal Substrate punching
  • Multiple Automated CNC Scoring systems with Jump score and Metal scoring capability
  • High volume deep tank Electrolytic Ni/Au & Electroless Ni/Immersion Au plating (ENIG)
  • High Speed Optic Drilling for accurate registration of punching to image
  • Extensive automated high resolution (8/8 - 0.2/0.2mm line and spacing) screen printing w/Seria vision-aided high speed printing lines
  • Environmentally controlled screen printing, dry film & screen making areas and direct emulsion coating technology for fine line resolution screen printing.
  • Computerized Preventive Maintenance program to ensure consistent equipment performance capability to produce product to customers specifications and quality standards.
  • Test and Measurement equipment which includes 7 Electrical test stations ; Micro Vu Q16 OCMM XY Coordinate Measuring system; Optic 3 OCMM, X Ray Fluorescence, complete cross sectioning system; Hi Pot testers and a multitude of other instrumentation to verify and insure conformance to industry standards, specifications and customer requirements.
